Responsibilities

• Coordinate clients, teams and project activities across multiple fast-paced projects.
• Solve complex technical problems related to building construction and systems.
• Oversee coordination between landlords and consultants (MEP, structural, civil).
• Manage project finances for internal and external budgets.
• Maintain high-quality deliverables and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Navigate brand standards and ensure alignment with client requirements.
• Lead in-house team with surveys, code and accessibility reviews as due diligence.
• Prepare design development and construction documents with project team and contractors.
• Assist with obtaining project approvals from building and zoning departments.
• Provide construction phase services and project close-out.

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Architecture

• Proficiency with Revit including proven experience in construction documentation development
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including recent experience
• Experience leading both interior design and architectural projects

Essential Skills and Responsibilities:

• Manage client, team, and project coordination and communication for multiple fast paced projects at a given time
• Exhibit advanced technical problem-solving capabilities regarding building construction and technologies
• Technical expertise regarding the coordination between landlord and consultants, including MEP, structural, and civil engineers
• Manage project finances for internal and external budgets
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively and work closely with clients
• Meets deadlines with high quality, thoughtful solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with navigating brand standards and working with brand-focused clients
• Must possess an understanding of client standards and how standards apply to project-specific requirements
• Lead in house team with preparation of existing conditions site surveys and full entitlement code and accessibility reviews as part of due diligence
• Manage preparation of design development, and construction documents with project team, consultants, contractors, and vendors
• Successfully navigate building and zoning departments regarding project approvals
• Perform construction phase services and project close-out

Travel is required.

Employees are expected to work out of our office 3+ days a week, consistent with Bergmeyer’s Flexible Work Policy.

The base salary will be estimated to be between $80,000 - $120,000 contingent on relevant experience plus variable bonus and benefits.
