Job summary

Bergmeyer is seeking a technically savvy Project Manager to lead Hospitality and Restaurant projects from our Boston or Los Angeles offices. The role focuses on coordinating clients, teams, and consultants, with a strong emphasis on design development, construction documents, and approvals.

Travel is required and in-office presence is 3+ days per week. Base salary targets range from $80,000 to $101,000 plus a variable bonus and benefits; licensure and LEED credentials are valued, and

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Architecture licensure preferred.
• LEED AP accreditation a plus.
• Proficiency with Revit including construction documentation.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading interior design and architectural projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage client, team, and project coordination for multiple fast-paced projects.
• Exhibit advanced technical problem-solving capabilities regarding building construction and technologies.
• Coordinate between landlord and consultants, including MEP, structural, and civil engineers.
• Manage project finances for internal and external budgets.
• Communicate effectively with clients and meet deadlines.
• Navigate brand standards and brand-focused clients.
• Lead in-house team with site surveys and entitlements reviews.
• Prepare design development and construction documents with project team.
• Navigate building and zoning departments for approvals.
• Perform construction phase services and project close-out.
• Travel is required.
• Work out of the office 3+ days a week under Flexible Work Policy.

• Experience leading both interior design and architectural projects

• Manage client, team, and project coordination and communication for multiple fast paced projects at a given time
• Exhibit advanced technical problem-solving capabilities regarding building construction and technologies
• Technical expertise regarding the coordination between landlord and consultants, including MEP, structural, and civil engineers
• Manage project finances for internal and external budgets
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively and work closely with clients
• Meets deadlines with high quality, thoughtful solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with navigating brand standards and working with brand-focused clients
• Familiarity with client standards and the ability to apply them thoughtfully to project-specific requirements is preferred.
• Lead in house team with preparation of existing conditions site surveys and full entitlements code and accessibility reviews as part of due diligence
• Manage preparation of design development, and construction documents with project team, consultants, contractors, and vendors
• Successfully navigate building and zoning departments regarding project approvals
• Perform construction phase services and project close-out

Travel is required.

Employees are expected to work out of our office 3+ days a week, consistent with Bergmeyer’s Flexible Work Policy.

The base salary will be estimated to be between $80,000 - $101,000 contingent on relevant experience plus variable bonus and benefits.
