Job summary

Byggmeister is seeking a Project Manager to guide design-build remodeling projects through planning and into construction, keeping our team and clients aligned every step of the way. Primarily work from home, with occasional on-site meetings and a collaborative, growth-oriented team.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-moving, detail-heavy project management role, preferably in residential remodeling or design-build.
• Strong organizational discipline with ability to manage multiple schedules, budgets, and workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and team.
• Comfortable with technology and information systems and quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design-build remodel projects from planning through construction.
• Coordinate with designers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain timelines and budgets.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and change orders.
• Communicate clearly with clients to align expectations and progress.

We are looking for a Project Manager to guide our design-build projects through planning and into construction, keeping our team and clients aligned every step of the way.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a highly skilled manager, who is excited about sustainable, high-performance building, and shares our commitment to building a more equitable and just industry. In addition, you:

• Have 3+ years of experience in a fast-moving, detail-heavy project or program management role; experience in residential remodeling, design, or an adjacent industry is preferred but not required
• Have strong organizational discipline and can manage multiple concurrent schedules, budgets, and workstreams with minimal oversight
• Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and experience communicating directly with clients
• Are deeply comfortable with technology and information systems, and pick up new software and tools quickly
• Bring strong interpersonal skills including the ability to hold teammates accountable to deadlines and commitments
• Work well both independently and as part of a team
• Bring positive energy, take on all tasks with enthusiasm, and work well with a wide range of people
• Take a proactive approach to problems, identifying and solving them before they risk projects and relationships

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• $40–52 hourly, depending on experience
