Job summary

Blackdog Builders, Inc. in New Hampshire seeks a Construction Project Manager for our Design/Build unit to own multiple residential remodeling projects from planning through closeout.

You will lead site coordination, collaborate with designers and clients to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to high standards, with project scopes from $25K to $750K, in a family‑oriented, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

10+ years of residential construction experience (Design/Build remodeling).
3+ years of project management or field leadership.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and building codes.
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, Project; JobTread knowledge a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of assigned remodeling projects from planning through closeout.
Allocate labor and subcontractor resources to maintain budget and schedule.
Supervise on-site personnel; lead weekly site meetings and maintain clear communication.
Interface with inspectors, architects, engineers, and municipal officials NH/MA.
Pull building permits and ensure compliance with local codes.
Estimate and prepare change orders; track project costs and variances.
Maintain documentation, progress updates, and client communication.
Uphold standards for quality, safety, and professionalism on every site.

As a Construction Project Manager for our Design/Build business unit, you'll take ownership of multiple residential remodeling projects, from initial planning to final walkthrough. Working closely with designers, field staff, and clients, you'll ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and above expectations. Your leadership will set the tone for site coordination, quality control, and client satisfaction across projects ranging from $25K to $750K.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and building codes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and construction management software (JobTread knowledge a plus).
Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications accurately.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation and client relationship abilities.
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and organized under pressure.

Pay: $85,000 to $100,000/year (based on experience)
