The role drives cross-functional execution for a growing technology organization, coordinating engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to ship complex projects on schedule.
Working in a hybrid New York setting, the Project Manager owns planning, timelines, and delivery across software development initiatives — translating ambiguous requirements into scoped work, managing dependencies, and keeping stakeholders aligned from kickoff through launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of 3-5 concurrent projects, managing scope, schedules, and risk across engineering, design, and product teams
• Run sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives in Jira and Confluence, keeping backlogs groomed and sprint velocity visible
• Build and maintain project roadmaps and dependency maps, escalating blockers before they impact launch dates
• Partner with engineering leads to translate technical requirements into milestones, estimates, and acceptance criteria
• Produce executive-ready status reports covering timeline health, risks, resourcing, and trade-off decisions
• Coordinate launches with marketing, support, and operations, ensuring handoffs, documentation, and rollback plans are in place
• Continuously improve delivery processes — retro action items, estimation accuracy, and cross-team rituals

What We Are Looking For

• 4-7 years of project or program management experience, ideally delivering software products in a tech environment
• Fluent with Agile/Scrum ceremonies and modern tooling: Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Linear; comfortable with GitHub workflows
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and hard deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to distill technical detail for executive audiences
• Experience managing budgets, vendor timelines, or resource planning across teams
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification; SQL or dashboarding skills (Looker, Tableau); experience in fintech, SaaS, or high-growth startups
