Job summary

TechHuman is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to guide multiple software teams from planning through release, aligning scope, timelines, and priorities. You will act as Scrum Master, facilitate ceremonies, and coach teams toward healthier delivery while maturing Agile and DevOps practices.

You will own Jira and dashboards, collaborate with product owners, track velocity and forecasting, prepare leadership updates, and help drive process improvements in a hybrid or evolving delivery

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading software development projects in fast-moving environments.
• Hands-on Scrum Master with a project management background.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• Strong Jira skills: configuring boards, workflows, backlogs, and dashboards.
• Ability to work in Agile with flexibility for Waterfall or hybrid delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent software development projects from planning through release, keeping scope, timelines, and priorities aligned.
• Serve as Scrum Master for development teams, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Spot and resolve issues within Scrum and sprint execution, coaching teams toward healthier delivery.
• Own Jira as the team's central delivery tool: build and maintain boards, workflows, epics, and dashboards, with light on-prem administration.
• Partner with product owners and developers to keep backlogs well defined and ready for development.
• Track velocity, sprint health, and delivery metrics, using data to improve forecasting and team performance.
• Prepare bi-weekly initiative summaries and delivery updates for senior leadership.
• Drive process improvements in an environment where Agile practices are still being established.
• Support the organization's shift toward DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based delivery.
• Champion Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release readiness with stakeholders.
• Identify, elevate, and track risks, dependencies, and bandwidth constraints across teams.

We're partnering with a fast-growing organization that's taking on a wave of new software development projects. To keep pace, they're looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager who can bring structure, clarity, and momentum to multiple development teams. You'll guide teams through sprints, keep delivery on track, and help shape how the organization builds software as it matures its Agile and DevOps practices.

What You'll Do

• Lead multiple concurrent software development projects from planning through release, keeping scope, timelines, and priorities aligned
• Serve as Scrum Master for development teams, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Spot and resolve issues within Scrum and sprint execution, such as missed commitments, scope creep, unclear stories, or blockers, and coach teams toward healthier delivery
• Own Jira as the team's central delivery tool: build and maintain boards, workflows, epics, and dashboards, and handle light Jira Data Center (on-prem) administration, including role setup and integrations
• Partner with product owners and developers to keep backlogs well defined, prioritized, and ready for development
• Track velocity, sprint health, and delivery metrics, and use the data to improve forecasting and team performance
• Prepare bi-weekly initiative summaries and delivery updates for senior leadership and executives
• Drive process improvements in an environment where Agile practices are still being established
• Support the organization's shift toward DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based delivery
• Champion Confluence for documentation, requirements, and team collaboration
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release readiness with business stakeholders
• Identify, elevate, and track risks, dependencies, and bandwidth constraints across team

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of experience managing software development projects in complex, fast-moving environments
• Hands-on Scrum Master experience leading development teams, backed by a project management background
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
• Strong, hands-on Jira experience, including configuring boards, workflows, and dashboards, managing backlogs, and reporting on sprint and release progress
• Proven ability to diagnose and fix problems in Scrum and sprint execution
• Comfortable working in Agile, with the flexibility to support Waterfall or hybrid delivery when needed
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills, with a detail-oriented, proactive mindset
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting to executives

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with SaaS products, cloud migrations, or DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with Confluence and MS Project
• Experience with process improvement and change management, especially helping organizations adopt Agile
• Business analysis experience, particularly writing user stories and supporting UAT
• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or additional Scrum Alliance certifications
