Job summary

Atera is seeking a delivery leader to own end-to-end enterprise engagements, from kickoff to production rollout. You will lead a dedicated delivery pod, manage gates, and safeguard executive-level escalations.

The role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery in a hybrid New York–area setting. You will drive complex deployments, align stakeholders, and ensure successful outcomes for enterprise SaaS customers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional project/program management in enterprise software, SaaS, or consulting-led delivery environments.
• Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional enterprise programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive stakeholders.
• Ability to manage scope, delivery risks, timelines, and change requests in enterprise engagements.
• Familiarity with AI platforms or AI-focused workflows is preferred.

You won’t just be managing projects; you will be driving the future of enterprise AI delivery. You will own the end-to-end delivery of enterprise engagements, taking full accountability for execution from kickoff through UAT, hypercare, and successful production rollout. As the single owner of the plan and the customer relationship, you will lead a dedicated delivery pod, manage critical operational gates, and serve as the main line of defense and strategic boundary for customer escalations.

What You’ll Do

• Pod Leadership & Customer Ownership: Run the delivery pod as the single owner of the project plan and the customer relationship, driving alignment and execution across all workstreams.
• Delivery & Governance: Lead complex enterprise AI deployments, managing project governance, RAID logs, change requests, UAT readiness, and hypercare.
• Preconditions & Gates Management: Take full ownership of establishing and validating preconditions and delivery gates directly with the customer to ensure smooth project progression.
• Escalation Management: Serve as the primary boundary for demanding day-to-day customer interactions, independently resolving issues and strategically deciding when and how to trigger executive-level escalations.Client Success & Coordination: Partner with enterprise stakeholders, AI engineers, solution architects, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing workflow plans.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years of professional project/program management experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or consulting-led delivery environments.
• Enterprise Delivery: A proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional enterprise programs with multiple stakeholders, demanding clients, and fast-moving timelines.
• Executive Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage executive stakeholders and simplify technical discussions for business audiences.
• Commercial Awareness: Comfortable managing scope, delivery risks, timelines, and change requests in enterprise engagements.
• AI Fluency: Familiarity with AI platforms, LLM-based systems, intelligent automation, or the agentic AI landscape is highly preferred (but not a strict requirement).
• Willingness to Travel: Ready to travel up to 15% for on-site customer engagements.

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual Salary for this role is 145,000- 180,000 USD as OTE,

The role is on a hybrid model with three office days per week, balancing collaboration and remote work flexibility.
