Job summary

Aptean is seeking a Project Manager, AI for AIaaS engagements. Based remotely in the USA, you will own end-to-end delivery of customer projects, managing 20–30 concurrent engagements across cross-functional teams.

You will serve as the primary contact, develop detailed plans, manage risks, and ensure milestone delivery while aligning with sales, data engineering, solutions architects, customer success, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years' project management experience delivering enterprise software or SaaS/AI solutions to external customers.
• Demonstrated track record managing a portfolio of concurrent projects end-to-end.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML solution delivery concepts: model deployment, data pipelines, integration, UAT cycles.

Overview

About the role You are the Project Manager, AI for Aptean's AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) engagements, based remotely in the USA. You own end-to-end delivery of customer projects from sale close to completion, managing a portfolio of 20–30 concurrent engagements. You work cross-functionally with AI Solutions Architects, Data Engineers, Customer Success, Sales and Product, serving as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their engagement lifecycle.

• Own end-to-end delivery of customer projects from Closed Won through closure.
• Serve as primary customer point of contact throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports.
• Identify, elevate and resolve risks and blockers affecting project delivery.
• Manage customer readiness for gates and coordinate internal teams for milestone delivery.

About you

You are a disciplined programme manager who combines technical understanding with clear communication. You excel at managing multiple concurrent projects without losing detail. You demonstrate exceptional organisational ability and maintain a structured approach to risk and issue management. You are comfortable with escalation and owning difficult customer conversations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 5 years' project management experience delivering enterprise software or SaaS/AI solutions to external customers
• Demonstrated track record managing a portfolio of concurrent projects end-to-end
• Solid understanding of AI/ML solution delivery concepts: model deployment, data pipelines, integration, UAT cycles
• Proficiency in project management tooling (Jira, Asana, MS Project, Salesforce/PSA) and document collaboration platforms (Confluence, SharePoint).

To be ahead of the pack, you might have:

• Background in Professional Services, Customer Success, or Implementation delivery
• Experience delivering AI, ML, or data-platform engagements in systems-integration context
• Familiarity with PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent project management certifications
• A track record of earning or pursuing an advanced degree
