Job Summary

Spend Your Summer Making an Impact

Are you the person who always asks "Why do we do it that way?" and then starts thinking of a better way?

Clark National Accounts, a division of Clark Associates, is looking for a Project Management Intern to join our Project Services team for the summer. This isn't a coffee-running internship. You'll get hands-on exposure to how large-scale restaurant and retail projects come to life while owning real process improvement initiatives that help our team work smarter as we continue to grow.

If you're curious, driven, love solving problems, and want to see how a fast-paced business operates behind the scenes, we'd love to meet you.

Who Are We?

Clark National Accounts partners with some of the largest restaurant, retail, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality, and senior living brands in the country. We help our customers successfully open new locations by providing equipment, supplies, project management, logistics coordination, and operational expertise.

Our Project Services team has a unique opportunity to collaborate with customers, warehouses, installers, account managers, analysts, and many other teams to turn plans into reality.

As an intern, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at how all those pieces work together.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Throughout the summer, you'll participate in a structured rotation across multiple areas of our Project Services organization, gaining exposure to different functions and learning how each contributes to the success of our customers.

Team Rotations

You'll spend time learning from and working alongside team members supporting:

  • Restaurant & Retail Projects
  • Commercial & Non-Commercial Projects
  • Installation Projects
  • Prospective Customer Solutions

You'll attend meetings, shadow team members, learn our systems and processes, and gain exposure to how projects move from concept to customer opening.

Own Meaningful Projects

You'll also take ownership of process improvement initiatives that directly support team efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence.

You'll work closely with team leaders and stakeholders to:

  • Understand existing processes
  • Analyze data
  • Identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop recommendations
  • Implement solutions
  • Present your results and impact

What You'll Learn

By the end of the summer, you'll gain exposure to:

  • Project management fundamentals
  • Process improvement strategies
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Cross-functional business operations
  • Foodservice and restaurant development
  • Professional communication and stakeholder management
  • Business systems and operational tools

You’ll also have opportunities for professional development, including:

  • Leadership and team meetings
  • Cross-department shadowing experiences
  • Vendor and customer-facing training sessions
  • Store and kitchen visits
  • Networking opportunities throughout the organization
  • Access to Clark Associates Internship Development Program and networking with peers
