Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Project Leader 1 in its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in Tysons, VA. The role supports the design, engineering, integration, and operation of electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial clients.

You will manage PM teams, coordinate schedules, and drive successful project delivery. Ideal candidates have extensive PM experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet budget, schedule, and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Work Type: Full-time.
• 7+ years of project management with a Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer/Math or Physics (ABET) or 5+ years with a Master's.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Construction Project Managers and perform PM duties on construction projects.
• Develop a resource-loaded CPM schedule using Primavera scheduling software.
• Coordinate and run project kickoff meetings (PKOM).
• Forecast cash flow and manpower needs for projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
