Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks a Deputy Project Leader for the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role involves leading day-to-day project operations, managing change orders, and coordinating with customers, vendors, and design professionals on electrical/security installations. Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, strong interpersonal and writing skills, and familiarity with CPM scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• BS in Engineering (Preferred EE or Industry related degree) with 5+ years of experience.
• Related construction experience with five years' experience on electrical/construction projects.
• Experience with contract drawings, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of a project or sub-section.
• Identify and resolve change orders; price and track them.
• Plan and monitor cash flow against expenses.
• Maintain as-builts and document project issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specs.
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve issues.
