Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Project Leader 1 in Tysons, Virginia to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will supervise project managers, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and drive project planning, budgeting, and execution to meet client requirements across federal, local, and commercial sectors. The role emphasizes scheduling, cost control, and coordination with owners, contractors, and design professionals.

Qualifications

• Extensive Project Management experience managing teams and monitoring multiple projects.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.

• Able to direct cross functional teams to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project Superintendent in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support.
• Develop a resource loaded CPM schedule with time scale logic in Primavera scheduling software.
• Coordinating and running a project kick-off meeting (PKOM).
• Forecasting cash flow and manpower needs for projects.
• Reading and interpreting blue prints and project specifications.
• Developing a budget and cost codes for a project and assigning costs and manpower to the schedule.
• Researching and compiling submittals, pricing change orders and preparing estimates.
• Meeting with potential customers to present proposals.
