Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks an invoicing professional to support office project finance and management teams. You will help ensure timely, accurate costs invoiced to clients and maintain cash flow with subconsultant payments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of invoicing experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail to meet contract requirements and governance standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2 years invoicing experience.
• Basic billing process knowledge; able to work mostly independently on simpler projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce project and client specific contract/task orders in an invoice deliverable package with Project Managers and project finance teams.
• Perform monthly financial analysis and gross revenue reconciliation of costs invoiced vs revenue earned on contractually reimbursable projects.
• Review Client Invoice Mapping (CIM), billing notes, Pay When Paid terms, and update CIM timelines with clients as needed.
• Reconcile amounts posted in AR against approved invoice status; maintain subconsultant payments and cash flow.
• Monitor outstanding balances and propose resolutions for delinquent accounts; support other duties as assigned.
