Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking a Project HSE Manager to support Sundt HS&E programs on a major construction project. This role is a stepping-stone with progression through Step I, Step II and Sr., expanding scope and responsibility as experience grows.

The position emphasizes safety leadership, site inspections, and developing environmental and safety plans, plus handling emergencies and workers' compensation issues.

Qualifications

• Certifications are preferred but not required (STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP).
• Education: high school diploma minimum; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least one year of full-time project safety experience.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• High integrity for reporting incidents and upholding policy.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
• Conduct site-specific safety orientations.
• Create, update, maintain, and facilitate the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Create, update, maintain, and facilitate the Project Safety Management Plan.
• Facilitate the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.
• Manage emergencies, incidents, and worker's compensation claims.
• Review and files project safety documentation.
