Job summary

Sundt, a 100% employee-owned contractor, seeks a Project HSE Manager as part of a project team, dedicated to the health and well-being of others. The role progresses through three steps (I, II and Sr.), reflecting increasing safety leadership and project scope.

You will conduct safety walks, develop and maintain the Project Environmental and Safety Management Plans, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with Sundt standards.

Qualifications

• Certifications and licenses: STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP preferred but not required.
• Education: high school diploma minimum, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: at least one year of full-time project safety experience.
• Written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• High integrity for reporting incidents and upholding policy.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Special skills: bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
• Conduct site-specific safety orientations.
• Create/update Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Create/update Project Safety Management Plan.
• Facilitate Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual.
• Manage emergencies, incidents, and workers' compensation claims.
• Review and file project safety documentation.
