Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project HSE Manager to advance health and safety on our project teams. The role focuses on implementing Sundt HS&E programs with a progression path through Step I, II and Sr. levels based on experience.

The position requires hands-on safety leadership, site walks, and the development of Environmental and Safety Management Plans to protect workers and the public. This is a field-facing role on construction sites with equal emphasis on prevention and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
• Conducts site-specific safety orientations.
• Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Safety Management Plan.
• Facilitates the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.
• Manages emergencies, incidents, and worker's compensation claims.
• Reviews and files project safety documentation.
