Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project HSE Manager who will serve as a safety resource for the project team and drive the Sundt HS&E programs. The role includes a progression of steps (I, II, Sr.) to grow safety leadership, with increasing responsibility for managing small to large projects.

The position emphasizes developing and maintaining the Project Environmental and Safety Management Plans, conducting site walks, orientations, and incident handling to protect workers and on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety management on construction sites.
• Ability to develop and maintain safety and environmental plans.
• Strong communication, coordination and incident reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
• Lead site-specific safety orientations for personnel.
• Create, update, and facilitate the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Create, update, and facilitate the Project Safety Management Plan.
• Support Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems on the project.
• Manage emergencies, incidents, and workers' compensation claims.
• Review and file project safety documentation.
