Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project HSE Manager to integrate with a project team and advance Sundt HS&E programs. The role offers a structured progression (I, II, Sr.) with increasing responsibility for safety leadership, planning, and on-site risk management.

The position emphasizes safety walks, orientation sessions, and the development and maintenance of Environmental and Safety Management Plans, while handling emergencies and incident reporting on a major construction site.

Qualifications

• Certifications and licenses: STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP preferred, but not required.
• Education: high school diploma minimum; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: at least one year of full-time project safety experience.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• High level of integrity for reporting incidents and upholding company policy, personal activities, etc.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Special skills: able to use various computer software and apps proficiently; bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
• Conducts site-specific safety orientations.
• Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Safety Management Plan.
• Facilitates the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.
• Manages emergencies, incidents, and worker's compensation claims.
• Reviews and files project safety documentation.
