Job summary

Sundt is seeking a Project HSE Manager to join our team, dedicated to the health and well-being of others and to facilitating Sundt HS&E programs. This role includes three steps (I, II and Sr.) that provide a progression of skill and experience.

Step I is entry level with short safety experience, reporting to a Project HSE Manager. Step II can manage small to medium size/complexity projects; Sr requires years of experience to handle larger, more complex projects.

Qualifications

• Certifications and licenses: STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP preferred.
• Education: high school diploma minimum; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: at least one year of full-time project safety experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; upholding company policy.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
• Conducts site-specific safety orientations.
• Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Safety Management Plan.
• Facilitates the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.
• Manages emergencies, incidents, and worker's compensation claims.
• Reviews and files project safety documentation.
