Job summary

Sundt seeks a Project HSE Manager to safeguard the health and well-being of its project team. This role is part of a three-step progression (I, II, Sr.) with increasing scope and autonomy, reporting to a senior HSE lead as needed.

Responsibilities include leading safety walks, implementing the Environmental and Safety Management Plans, handling incidents, and ensuring compliance with policies. Strong communication and bi-lingual skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Certifications in safety fields are preferred (STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP).
• Education: high school diploma minimum; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of full-time project safety experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• High integrity in incident reporting and policy adherence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bi-lingual ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
• Provide site-specific safety orientations for personnel on site.
• Create/update/maintain the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Create/update/maintain the Project Safety Management Plan.
• Facilitate the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.
• Manage emergencies, incidents, and workers' compensation claims.
• Review and file project safety documentation.
