Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) seeks a Project Geotechnical Engineer to support large‑scale energy generation and transmission projects across North America. You will focus on foundation design and geo‑structural solutions within a multi‑disciplinary team.

The role involves design production, analyses of deep foundations, and participation in field activities and construction support. PE licensure, 5+ years of geotechnical design experience, and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure.
• Minimum 5 years design experience in geotechnical, structural, transmission, or substation engineering.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute geo‑structural engineering tasks and design production.
• Perform analyses for deep foundations and retaining structures.
• Oversee analyses by other staff and senior leadership.
• Develop construction drawings and provide construction support.
• Communicate with project management and field teams.

Excellent written and verbal comms

Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel

Ability to work with moderate/supervis

Travel up to 25%

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
