Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks a Project Geotechnical Engineer to support large-scale energy projects across North America. You will focus on foundation engineering, design-build methods, and geo-structural solutions with a multidisciplinary team.

This office-based role involves leading analyses, developing construction drawings, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with civil, geotechnical, and structural experts. Travel up to 25% and site visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Minimum 5 years design experience in geotechnical or structural engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Master's degree in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology.

Responsibilities

• Execute geo-structural engineering tasks and analyses.
• Design deep foundations and retaining structures.
• Oversee analyses by other staff and provide mentorship.
• Perform stability modeling for slopes and structures.
• Develop construction drawings and specifications.
• Provide engineering support during construction and field activities.
• Communicate findings professionally to project teams.
• Conduct site visits across North America.
