Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Loan Administrator to support the Infrastructure Finance portfolio. This role involves reviewing and negotiating loan documents for large, commercial, utility-scale loans and managing a diverse loan portfolio from approval to payoff or maturity.

You will partner with Relationship Managers and coordinate with attorneys, construction consultants, and title companies across all financing phases to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically five to seven years of experience in commercial real estate or project finance loan administration.
• Experience negotiating loan documents, reviewing rates and terms for complex commercial loans.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial real estate finance or project finance, law, documentation, accounting and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage due diligence and administrative management of loans targeted toward renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
• Provide administrative management of a portfolio of Project Finance construction and term loans and Letters of Credit per credit policy requirements.
• Ensure closing conditions are met and loans are closed and funded within time frames with excellent customer service.
• Maintain files with documentation for third party review and prepare files for audits.
• Collaborate with internal teams (project management, asset management, legal, compliance) and external stakeholders.
• Review loan documents for alignment with loan booking systems.
