Job summary

CloudFit Software seeks a detail-oriented Project Finance Operations Specialist to guide financial execution of projects from contract award through cash collection. You’ll connect project teams, Operations, Finance, customers, and vendors to improve billing accuracy, cash visibility, and overall financial performance across our contract portfolio.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience supporting billing, accounts receivable, project accounting, finance operations, or contract administration.
Strong understanding of invoice management, collections, and financial documentation.

Responsibilities

Manage project billing activities across a portfolio of government and commercial contracts.
Develop and maintain billing schedules aligned with contractual requirements and project milestones.
Prepare and submit accurate customer invoices while tracking billing status, exceptions, unbilled activity, and collection follow-through.
Monitor project cash positions and provide timely updates that support forecasting and business decisions.
Support project purchasing and vendor payment processes by validating invoices against budgets, commitments, PO’s, and contractual requirements.
Partner with project managers to identify and resolve billing, payment, contract, and cash-flow issues.
