is seeking a Project Administrator who supports the project and finance teams by handling financial data, budgets, invoicing and reporting for key electrical utility projects in Downers Grove, IL. You will collaborate with project managers and the finance group to ensure accurate forecast analysis, compliance with contract terms, and timely financial deliverables. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is required, with strong GAAP knowledge and proficient

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting methods.
• Ability to collect and assemble data for financial reports.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and monthly project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assessing and reporting on the financial health of specific projects by tracking costs, handling budgets, and analyzing budget-vs-actual variances.
• Assist with customer audit reporting and monthly reporting/analytics.
• Process and input invoices, payments and change orders; ensure contract terms and billing schedules are followed.
• Input contracts, cost budgets, change orders, and purchase orders into JDE; assist with forecast entries and variance explanations.
• Build relationships with project managers and the finance team; support internal/external audits as required.
