Green Key Resources in Chicago seeks a Project Executive for Commercial Construction to lead multi-project deliverables and client relations. You will guide teams from preconstruction through closeout on $50M+ programs, ensuring profitability, safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience, ideally with a General Contractor.
• Experience in at least one of the following sectors: Cold Storage / Food & Beverage, Aviation, Retail.
• Experience in a leadership role such as Project Executive or Senior Project Manager.
• Strong knowledge of project financials, contracts, scheduling, procurement and subcontractor management.
• Proven ability to manage large and/or complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level oversight of multiple projects or one $50M+ project and project teams.
• Lead projects from preconstruction and planning through construction and closeout.
• Oversee Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and supporting staff.
• Monitor project financials, schedules, contracts, risk and overall performance.
• Partner with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to a high standard of quality.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors and other project partners.
• Participate in preconstruction, estimating, procurement and project strategy.
• Identify potential project challenges early and work with teams to develop solutions.
• Mentor and develop project management staff.
• Assist with client development, relationship management and pursuit of future work.
• Ensure project teams are following company processes and meeting client expectations.

Project Executive - Commercial Construction

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to join a well-established and growing general contractor in the Chicago market. This individual will provide leadership and oversight across multiple projects while managing client relationships, developing project teams and ensuring successful project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

Candidates should have a strong general contracting background with experience in at least one of the following markets: healthcare, multifamily, cold storage/food & beverage, aviation or retail.

Responsibilities
