Job summary

Branch Civil seeks a Project Engineer to join our growing team. You will oversee all engineering and technical aspects of the project, with a strong emphasis on organizing and planning to ensure the highest level of accuracy and quality on site.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will support safety, documentation, plans and specifications, construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, projections and project closeout. Extensive travel within the Northern Carolina region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Master's Degree in engineering/Construction and two years of experience in heavy civil NCDOT/large site construction.
• Willingness to travel extensively in the Northern Carolina Region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and technical aspects of projects with emphasis on planning and accuracy.
• Support PM in budgeting, cost codes, and project closeout.
• Review and manage permits, logs, and material tracking; ensure safety compliance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field

Master's Degree in engineering/Construction and two years of heavy civil NCDOT/large site experience
