Description:Join the Lockheed Martin Chief Digital & AI Office’s Digital Solutions and External Engagement team as part of the Applied Digital Solutions team. We’re on the leading edge of commercializing dual-use software and enabling data-driven business models. We are seeking a Project Engineer to be responsible for managing the customer experience aspects of digital tool deployments, ensuring that our customers have a seamless and intuitive experience with our digital tools. This role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing improvement. As a project engineer focused on enhancing the customer’s experience with digital tool adoption your responsibilities will include:
• Manage and facilitate the collaboration with the developer and customer in support of digital tool deployments to enhance customer experience
• Ensure seamless integration with existing systems, data sources, and infrastructure
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, pain points, and expectations
• Collect, analyze, and interpret customer data to inform digital tool deployment and optimization strategies
• collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve digital tools and customer experience
• Communicate project progress, plans, and changes to stakeholders, including customers, team members, and executives
• Manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and ensure alignment with business objectives

Basic Qualifications:
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills, with ability to adapt to changing customer needs and project requirements
• Ability to analyze customer data, identify trends, and develop solutions to improve customer experience
• Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN and able to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
• 3+ years of experience in customer experience, customer success, or a related field
• Strong customer-focused mindset, with a deep understanding of customer needs and expectations
• Familiarity with digital tools and technologies, such as customer portals, mobile apps, or software platforms
• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and human-centered design approaches.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
