Description

Our work focuses on enabling development and investment in energy infrastructure. As a Lead Project Manager, you will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, engage with clients, and expand our independent engineering and owner’s advisory practice areas. Join a team of industry experts delivering high-value technical diligence support and solutions for technical and commercial challenges.

Technical Advisory provides comprehensive services supporting strategic investments, portfolio management, operational planning, market developments, policy analyses, regulatory support, and customer engagement. We collaborate across divisions including Power and Gas Market, Environment and Planning, and Transportation and Sustainability. Candidates should have experience in power markets, technical consulting, or utility industry results, with the ability to engage with client decision-makers at senior levels. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

What You Will Do

• Conduct technical due diligence, support construction and project completion monitoring on energy assets.
• Manage project and client relationships.
• Provide technical input to multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Work within a team of diverse technical skills.
• Complete work within deadlines and budgets.
• Ensure client satisfaction and develop long-term relationships.
• Support business development, including proposal development and client outreach.
• Stay informed on market activities and industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical).
• 8+ years in the energy industry or consulting.
• 8+ years of site-based experience on utility-scale projects (solar, energy storage/BESS, biofuels, renewables).
• Experience as a senior project manager, managing projects and teams.
• Experience with Independent/Owner’s Engineering.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 10-15+ years in energy industry/consulting.
• 10-15+ years site-based engineering/managerial experience.
• Knowledge of key commercial contracts (interconnection, off-take, supply, construction, O&M).
• Ability to work flexibly within a team or independently.

Pay Range: $107,936 - $183,491, based on experience, skills, location, and certifications.
