VINCI Construction Grands Projets USA seeks a Project Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning) to provide technical and managerial support on a major Virginia design-build project for HRCP JV. You will lead meetings, review drawings, coordinate with the owner, and develop work plans to start construction on-site.

Requires a Civil/Construction degree and 5+ years in heavy civil infrastructure, with strong MS Office skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil infrastructure construction/engineering.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings and disseminate information.
• Review drawings and specifications; address issues.
• Coordinate technical information with owner and company.
• Develop Work Plans and Procedures for on-site construction approvals.
• Handle RFIs/FDCs and NCR resolutions with EOR/owner.
• Schedule and monitor program activity for on-time delivery.
• Create bill of materials referencing drawings and specs.
• Review supplier quotations and technical info.
• Identify conflicts in construction and propose preventative actions.
• Ensure charges are correctly represented for accounting closing.
• Manage subcontractors and change orders.
• Schedule QC & QA inspections and surveys.
• Support safety, health & environmental programs.
