VINCI Construction Grands Projets USA is seeking a Project Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning) to support construction operations on a major Design Build project in Virginia. You will lead meetings, review technical drawings, coordinate information across teams, and drive work plans to start on-site with EOR approvals.

The role requires a civil engineering or construction management degree and at least five years in heavy civil infrastructure, with strong coordination,

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or engineering with heavy civil focus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead project meetings to collect and disseminate information.
• Review technical specifications and drawings for issue resolution.
• Coordinate technical information between/within the company and the owner.
• Develop Work Plans and Procedures to start construction on-site.
• Manage RFIs/FDCs and NCRs with EOR and the owner.
• Schedule and monitor program activity and coordinate with suppliers.
• Create bill of materials referencing drawings and specs.
• Review quotations using supplier data and cost standards.
• Evaluate potential construction delays and suggest preventive steps.
• Ensure project charges are accurate for accounting closure.
• Manage subcontractors and change orders.
• Oversee Quality Control/Quality Assurance inspections.
• Coordinate survey operations and safety program implementation.
