VINCI Construction Grands Projets USA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning) to support the Hampton Roads Connector Partners’ 9-mile design-build project in Virginia. This role entails leading project meetings, reviewing drawings and specifications, and coordinating technical information between the owner and the company.

You will develop work plans, handle RFIs/NCRs, manage subcontractors, and monitor schedules to ensure on-time delivery through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum 10 years in heavy civil infrastructure.
• Knowledge of drawings, specs, materials.
• MS Office proficiency and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings to collect and disseminate information.
• Review technical specifications/drawings and issue resolutions.
• Coordinate technical information between company and owner.
• Develop Work Plans and Procedures to start construction on-site.
• Handle RFIs/FDCs and NCR resolutions with EOR/owner.
• Schedule and monitor program activity to meet on-time targets.
• Create bill of materials referencing drawings and specs.
• Review quotations with suppliers and cost/quality data.
• Identify potential conflicts in construction and propose fixes.
• Ensure project charges are correctly represented for accounting.
• Manage subcontractors and change orders on the project.
• Coordinate QA/QC inspections and survey operations.
• Support safety, health & environmental programs.
