Job summary

DuPont Spectrum in Minnesota seeks an experienced project management professional to lead the development of new programs from concept to customer approval. You will guide small to mid-scale projects, provide leadership to cross-functional teams, and maintain program organization with clear milestone communications.

The role emphasizes reducing cost and risk, collaborating with Business Continuity Managers, performing DOE analyses, and ensuring a smooth transition to production through robust

Qualifications

• 4 Year Engineering Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering).
• 2+ years of experience in contract manufacturing within related industry.
• Experience with plastic tooling/processing, machining, secondary processes and assembly methods preferred.
• Experience in medical component/device manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge and application of statistics and SPC.
• Comprehensive knowledge of blue print reading and GD&T.
• Technical knowledge, analytical expertise and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development of new programs from concept through customer approval.
• Lead small to mid-scale projects with low to moderate complexity through providing leadership and direction to cross-functional support resources.
• Maintain program organization through effectively and consistently communicating the status of critical project milestones and action items to appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide Estimating staff with support and information in completing project related quotations as requested.
• Support Program Manager on the development activities for complex programs.
• Oversee the development of robust manufacturing processes using data analysis and statistical methods.
• Participate in the creation and execution of qualification and validation protocols/plans.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
