DuPont Spectrum is seeking a Principal Engineer for Fluids and Flexibles to guide global engineering teams in Medical Tubing and Flexible Packaging extrusion and processes. You will drive process excellence, quality improvements, and capital project execution while leading R&D support and technology roadmaps across the division.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration to standardize best practices, enhance yield, and enable growth

Qualifications

• Advanced engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in R&D, engineering, technical services & development.
• 5+ years in polymer extrusion and converting.
• Proven track record establishing best-in-class polymer and medical device processes and personnel development.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Create and uphold a customer-centric mindset within the engineering function.
• Lead capital budgeting and projects for Fluid Management and Flexibles divisions.
• Support cost-savings programs (PRISM) at the global division level.
• Act as Commercial Liaison for capacity and capability assessments.
• Support R&D and new product/process development across the enterprise.
• Partner with Technical Services & Development to develop the technology roadmap.
• Benchmark best practices for new product introduction and manufacturing technology.
• Ensure RCCA learnings are applied across the enterprise.
• Drive data-driven operational improvements and plan execution at division level.
• Support quality by root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Contribute to asset strategy and capacity expansion efforts.
• Support growth via new product/process qualifications and scale-up programs.
• Travel up to 25% domestically/internationally as needed.
