Job summary

Spectrum Plastics Group is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager to lead new program development from concept to customer approval in a manufacturing setting. You will guide cross-functional teams and ensure milestones are met while maintaining cost and quality targets for complex medical component programs.

The role emphasizes manufacturing process development, DOE analysis, and collaboration with customers to resolve technical questions and optimize production readiness.

Qualifications

• 4 Year Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Plastics).
• 2+ years contract manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with plastic tooling/processing and assembly methods is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage development of new programs from concept to customer approval.
• Lead small to mid-scale projects with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate project milestones and action items to stakeholders.
• Support design for manufacturability and transition to production.
• Create and execute qualification/validation plans.
