Job summary

DuPont Spectrum in Minneapolis is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead medical device development from opportunity assessment to commercial launch, guided by the NPCF framework to deliver compliant, manufacturable solutions.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, quality, regulatory, and supply chain, manage budgets, risks, and Stage Gate governance, and build strong customer partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business or related discipline.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
• 10+ years leading complex development, commercialization or manufacturing programs in regulated industries.
• Experience in new product development, design controls, technology transfer, and commercialization.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
• Strong program management disciplines: scope, schedule, resource planning, risk management, financial management, and stage-gate governance.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, business cases and development revenue.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and regulated product development.
• Willingness to work onsite in Minneapolis to facilitate collaboration and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs through NPCF from opportunity assessment through commercial launch.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, quality, regulatory, supply chain, commercial, and customer stakeholders.
• Develop integrated program plans including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Build and maintain customer relationships as a strategic partner for medical device OEMs.
• Lead governance activities including Stage Gate reviews and executive updates.
• Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and contingency efforts.
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory and design control requirements.
• Manage program financial performance, budgets, forecasting, and revenue.
• Lead commercialization and technology transfer for scalable manufacturing across sites.
• Support business growth through customer strategy discussions and business cases.
• Communicate status, risks and decisions clearly to stakeholders.
• Champion continuous improvement in commercialization and project execution.
