X-energy LLC in Oak Ridge, TN seeks an experienced Project Engineer III to plan, coordinate, and execute moderately complex engineering work across multidisciplinary teams in support of project objectives.

The role emphasizes adherence to quality and regulatory standards, issue resolution, and collaboration with project controls, licensing, supply chain, and operations to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related technical field from an accredited college or university.
• Typically, five to eight years of engineering, project engineering, technical program management, or related experience in energy, nuclear, petrochemical, or high-technology hardware/software.
• Experience supporting moderately complex technical scope and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities in a project-based environment.
• Experience supporting projects in a regulated environment, including familiarity with quality assurance requirements, configuration management, and controlled technical deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute moderately complex engineering scope aligned with project objectives, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams and cross-functional partners.
• Support resolution of moderately complex technical, programmatic, interface, and execution issues.
• Support and contribute to project engineering priorities, execution strategies, and integration plans for timely delivery.
• Track engineering deliverables, interfaces, decisions, assumptions, and technical issues.
