Job summary

Amentum in Oak Ridge, Tennessee seeks a Project Engineer II to support large-scale nuclear projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role focuses on design management, coordinating multi-discipline teams, and maintaining budget and schedules for DOE/NNSA and commercial clients.

Based in Oak Ridge, the engineer will partner with project managers to deliver capital projects involving nuclear infrastructure and advanced reactor programs, while adhering to regulatory and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7 years of engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in management and coordination of activities among all project functions and engineering disciplines.
• Review project staffing requirements and coordinate staffing with supporting managers and/or subcontractors.
• Support creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, and monitor progress and milestones.
• Assist the Project Manager in developing documentation communicating issues, status, and progress.
