Job summary

Timeline Design+Build is seeking a Project Engineer II to drive core coordination workflows across documentation, trades, and internal teams. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will act as an extension of the PM, owning processes that align scope, budget, and schedule on residential construction projects.

You will proactively resolve coordination gaps, manage procurement and COs, and maintain BuilderTrend project status to keep field teams informed and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Engineering preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in construction.
• Proficiency with BuilderTrend encouraged.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with PMs, site managers, and superintendents to align across project phases.
• Manage procurement tracking and schedule-aligned deliveries.
• Own creation, issuance, and tracking of purchase orders.
• Onboard subcontractors and manage contract documentation (COIs).
• Oversee change orders from initiation to approval.
• Maintain project documentation and BuilderTrend status.
• Track RFIs, submittals, and drawings with stakeholders.
• Support field issues and reduce PM administrative burden.
