Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to assist the Project Manager on assigned projects. You will work under supervision, perform routine daily activities, and gather information while communicating effectively with the team and clients.

The role requires strong organizational skills, ability to read drawings, manage RFIs/submittals, and support procurement and scheduling efforts across trades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or 2 years of industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications for all trades.

Responsibilities

• Setup initial contracts and project information.
• Coordinate various trades and resolve design coordination issues.
• Receive, review, forward, and track submittals; oversee RFIs.
• Assist in project permit processes and procurement; manage schedule updates.
• Prepare monthly owner project status reports and attend meetings.
• Enforce safety policies and promote an injury-free environment.
