Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation seeks a Project Engineer I to design and enhance conveyor and material handling systems, coordinating between mechanical, electrical, industrial, controls, software, and project management teams.

You will help develop concepts that meet safety, functionality, reliability, throughput, and cost requirements, with up to 20% travel to job sites and customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience, such as an internship, within the material handling industry.

Responsibilities

• Designs/enhances conveyor systems and various material handling systems; may lead a smaller project.
• Assists in product design reviews for compliance with standards and customer specs.
• Coordinates activities, schedules, and resolution of engineering design/test problems.
• Creates approval, permit, and installation drawings using AutoCAD.
