Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation seeks a Mechanical/Industrial/Product Development engineer to lead automated material handling system designs. You will guide project teams, ensure manufacturability, and collaborate across design, manufacturing, and vendors.

On-site testing and travel up to 20% are expected. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in engineering, 6+ years in material handling, and experience with conveyor/sortation equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD and 2D AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Responsibilities

• Creates designs for manufacturable, scalable, and desirable material handling systems.
• Leads teams, mentors less-senior members, and ensures project milestones.
• Performs engineering calculations including horsepower, torque, and deflection.
• On-site testing, verification, and travel up to 20%.
• Collaborates with design, manufacturing, quality, and vendors to develop solutions.
