Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation seeks a senior engineer to lead development of new product designs for automated material handling systems. You will work on medium to large projects, mentor junior team members, and oversee work across design, testing, and validation phases.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and procurement to ensure safe, reliable, and manufacturable solutions, while maintaining schedules and traveling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 6+ years of material handling experience.
• Experience designing conveyor, sortation, or automation equipment.
• Experience designing parts for volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Create manufacturable, scalable product designs.
• Lead teams and mentor junior members.
• Ensure products are safe, reliable and easy to maintain.
• Perform engineering calculations for strength, torque, deflection, and other parameters.
• On-site testing and verification; travel up to 20%.
