Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer for a top-tier commercial contractor in Kansas City, MO. You will support project managers, coordinate documentation, and assist with procurement and cost controls across education, healthcare, and corporate projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field and 1–4+ years of experience, with proficiency in construction management software and MS Office. Competitive salary and strong mentorship offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 1–4+ years of experience in commercial construction; internship acceptable.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and workflows.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and superintendents in planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects.
• Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with procurement, vendor and subcontractor coordination, and material tracking.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and cost controls to ensure delivery.
• Participate in change management, reviewing proposals and change orders.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and trade partners across all phases.
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
