Job summary

Baker Construction Enterprises Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to support field activities and project administration on multiple small projects or one medium to large project. You’ll assist the Project Manager with cost control, scheduling, constructability, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university.
• 2 years’ experience or 6 years construction related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Generates and obtains approvals of monthly billing and earned values.
• Develops and manages the project schedule on small or mid-sized projects.
• Analyzes targets and goals, job cost summaries, and other reports.
• Alerts the Superintendent and Project Manager of project impact related to resources.
• Generates estimates of change orders and interfaces with pre-construction on bids.
• Coordinates with the project team to develop procurement plans and budgets.
