Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering, ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in contract administration and/or office engineering with knowledge of building construction, construction management, and/or engineering design.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Analyze design and construction issues with respect to contract requirements and provide recommendations to government personnel regarding compliance with contract provisions and environmental requirements.
• Exercise engineering judgment to assist in developing solutions to conflicting plan details or requirements identified during construction.
• Obtain and incorporate recommendations from the Designer-of-Record (DoR) and LRL’s Construction and Facilities Management into recommended solutions.
• Review project schedules and provide recommendations regarding schedule items, progress percentages, and the relationship between completed work and contract payments.
