Job summary

The Christman Company in Raleigh, NC seeks a Project Engineer to support project managers and superintendents on large-scale commercial construction projects. You will handle RFIs, submittals, daily reports, material procurement, and safety compliance on site.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and at least one year of construction experience. An equivalent mix of education and experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• Minimum one year of construction industry experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce and organize project documents per Christman standards for easy access by team members.
• Prepare close-out, turnover, and archiving documents to ensure on-schedule delivery.
• Manage RFI process and ensure information flows timely to all parties.
• Review submittals and shop drawings, and coordinate with architect and subcontractors.
• Post safety information and maintain daily reports and progress/photos.
