Job summary

The Christman Company in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a Project Executive to lead projects from inception through closeout. This employee-owner role emphasizes client leadership, on-site team guidance, and accountability for project results.

You will coordinate preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and post-construction follow-up while representing Christman to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of direct construction management experience including management of individuals and teams.
• -or- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from proposal through completion in alignment with The Christman Way.
• Motivate, inspire, and guide on-site project team members including Project Manager and Superintendent.
• Manage project financials: fee sheet, cash flow projections, expenses, and reimbursables to maximize ROI and limit risk.
• Serve as primary client-facing representative to ensure client needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Advocate for on-site staff and collaborate with executive leadership to support teams.
• Coach and develop project teams and ensure alignment with company standards and risk management.
• Oversee risk planning and ensure proactive mitigation and clear communication with stakeholders.

Education
