The Christman Company is seeking a Project Engineer to support large-scale commercial construction projects in the Raleigh, North Carolina region. You will assist the Project Manager and Project Superintendent with daily jobsite functions, RFI/submittal processing, and safety monitoring.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of construction experience, with a focus on documentation and close-out activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum one year of construction industry experience; internships count.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience accepted.

Responsabilités

• Produce and organize project documents per Christman standards.
• Prepare close-out docs, turnover, and archiving for on-schedule delivery.
• Plan, communicate, and process subcontract close-out documents.
• Summarize discussions and decisions from project meetings.
• Assist PM with inspections and punch-list logs.
• Manage RFI process and update contract drawings with changes.
• Organize and prioritize submittals per contract documents.
• Support Superintendent with daily reports and progress photos.
• Post safety information and ensure proper PPE on site.
