The Madison, Wisconsin office of GEI Consultants, Inc. (GEI) is seeking a Project Engineer with a background in civil, environmental, geotechnical, or water resources engineering in Middleton, WI.

Under supervision, you will support ongoing field and design efforts across projects like landfills, remediation, dams, and site development. You will work in disciplines including Water Resources, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical, and Solid Waste, developing feasibility studies, design documents, and

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, Geological, or Environmental Engineering; MS preferred.
• E.I.T. or P.E. is a plus.
• 3–8 years of civil/geotechnical/environmental engineering experience.
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide support to field and engineering design efforts.
• Support development of feasibility studies and cost estimates.
• Prepare engineering drawings and specification packages.
• Assist in site investigations and environmental sampling.
• Prepare technical reports and client/regulator presentations.
• Provide quality control review of calculations and deliverables.
• Develop project scope, budgets and schedules; perform project management.
